Privacy policy
What data Fotofresh handles, where it lives and how to delete it. Last updated: October 20, 2026.

In short
- Your photos never leave your phone.
- No account, no ads, no analytics, no app server. No network connections of its own.
- The only things saved are identifiers and numbers (statistics), on the device only.
Who handles the data
The data controller is Muse Pixel, an independent developer ("I" below). For any request write to support@musepixel.app.
What data the app handles

I do not collect name, email, contacts, advertising identifiers or usage data. The app's privacy manifest declares that it collects no data.
Legal basis: performing the service you request by using the app (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for optional features, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Third-party services
Apple. The app uses Apple frameworks only. If an "optimized" original is in iCloud, the system may download it when needed: this is system traffic between your device and iCloud, not towards any app server.
Sharing. If you choose to share a photo (with the iOS share sheet or to Instagram Stories), the photo goes to the app or person you choose. Fotofresh does not send it anywhere else.
No external SDKs, no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads.
Permissions requested

The app does not use the camera, microphone or contacts. It does not read your location for its own purposes: when it creates an optimized copy, it carries over into the copy the location the photo already contained.
How to delete your data
- Deleted photos. They go to the app's Trash and are removed from the library only when you empty it and confirm in the iOS dialog. After confirmation, iOS keeps them in "Recently Deleted" for a period set by the system.
- App data. Uninstalling Fotofresh removes statistics, log and preferences from the device.
- Backups. The files you exported are yours and stay where you put them: delete them from there.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing (Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR). You can exercise them by writing to support@musepixel.app. I reply within 30 days.
If you believe the processing violates the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of your own country.
Minors
Fotofresh is not aimed at minors and I do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
If I change how the app handles data, I update this page and the date at the top. Changes that materially affect you I also flag in the app.
